Good morning everyone,***I was just wondering if anyone has signed up and plans to volunteer for the GOP convention in a few weeks? If you are let me know...the Student Voice is interested.
Things are already coming together for an exciting school year!! Reservations have been made for the 9-11 We Remember Project along with the candlelight Vigil and a screening of Obsession.
The theater has been reserved for all of the documentary screenings we spoke about at the end of last year.
John Hanley (Vice Chair) is currently organizing the Org Fair table which will take place Sept 2 (beginning at 10am i believe). Let John and I know if you can help that day.
A mock Presidential Debate is tentatively set up with the College Dems Oct. 20.
For those of you signed up for the American Dream Summit, I am still waiting on word about scholarships.
Our first meeting will be Sept 8 at 7 in room 321 and our Fall BBQ will fall on Sept 15.
If anyone has any questions, concerns, ideas, or criticisms please always feel free to let me know. Let's make this a year to remember!
